As some of you may know we have been praying for Paul Morris who was in an motorcycle accident last October. He was hit by a taxi cab that turned left into him. He has a broken leg. I checked in with him last week and he is doing well and is in therapy and the main goal is to get his angle to work again and it will take a few months as he can't get it out of first gear. So he will not be attending this years Bike Blessing. Paul did say in his email One other little thing I have to share, and feel free to pass this story on... I wear Cross on a chain all of the time. After I was put into the ambulance the EMT told me he had to take it off. He said before he did we would pray The Lord's Prayer. The cop, the EMT, and I held hands and prayed...and I was pretty much in a daze so I didn't have a clue how serious things were. After we Prayed, I had never felt so safe and so at peace in my entire life. I felt the same presence that I did during the Pastor's Prayer before the group ride. Small story, but I feel compelled to share it. Thanks for thinking of me! Paul

First I would like to tell you that I had the opportunity to attend your 7th annual Blessing of the Bikes on May 3rd and it was the best time I have had ever at a motorcycle event! It was not just the short ride with all the different types of bikes, it was not even the great picnic that followed the ride, it was not the way that everything was so well organized. It was the feeling of brotherhood that I felt from the first minute that I parked my motorcycle and got off and had that bewildered look on my face, that we all get when we are alone in a strange event and do not know anyone. I was greeted by several of the folks that were members of the church that were involved in setting up the event. I was taken to the greeting table to find out I was pre-registered and all I had to do was sign on the dotted line so to speak. Several members after that pointed me in the right direction to use my free raffle tickets and get a breakfast refreshment. I cannot thank everyone involved for such a great event, anyone that reads this is welcome to pass along my thanks to all involved. Rarely do you see people doing spiritual work and riding motorcycles come together so well.
I would love to possibly become more involved with your group of merry riders and would greatly appreciate any direction that you could give me. I have looked on your website and there was nothing posted yet. But I am willing to keep looking, I have heard that you folks sometimes do “ice cream” runs and that sound pretty cool. I would like to learn more about them.
Thank You very much
